My Rusty Runner

I am about to build a cargo box just like that also looks good and doesnt take up useful space. Where did you find holes in the frame? I had a hole in mine that was patched.

Is that charcoal stacked in the background? Like a lifetime supply:wow:

Wood pellets, it's our only source of heat in a 2800sq ft house, not even a year supply.

And RJaudi, my holes are under where the rear control arms mount to the frame, it's noting major, but when I pull the clutch i'll just throw a patch on it for peace of mind.

Thats where mine was next to the muffler. Had to drop the muffler to repair it. I think people are going to have to start watching those spots in the future.

center caps look good! you should get a little paint pen maybe burgundy to match your paint and do the toyota symbol on them.

Yeah, im gonna try to do it with some touch up paint and tape it off.

Here are some more Pics of the cargo box installed and all together minus the carpeting. I am also gonna make a support to hold it in at the tailgate, still pondering what to do.

Looks good! Post up some more pics whenever you cover it :thumb3:

My cargo box is literally a box. A cardboard legal documents box. Took me about 45 seconds to fold properly :hatsoff:

Did some interesting maintanence today, I cleaned out the heater blower fan and too my surprise it was loaded with crap, and i did it cause my dash would vibrate with the heat on. Took about 8 minutes to get it out, 20 to clean, and another 8 to reinstall. I used this writeup which is very straight forward.

And then mid job my buddy jumped in the truck, so we took a test ride when i was done.

Is that fan located under the dash? Did the squirrel put all that junk in there?

Yeah under the dash passenger side its exposed, i prolly could have removed it without removing the glove box but it didnt take long to do anyway., it was prolly that damn squirrel or the mice i had in the airbox, seeing as they both lived in my truck. :(

Front End overhaul ish!

Tonight was car night at my house, oil changes and fixing cars, i decided when the 4runner was up to use the Plastidip i bought today, and respray my lower front bumper valence, i also thought while in the front end to install the skids the Fonerunner gave me 2 weeks ago. So here is the progress:

Yeah with gold that would suck , but on most other colors I don't think it would look bad , it's.a major.improvement on johns ride for sure . Haha
