Looks great and super clean. You said that the fiberglass and bondo were pretty easy to work with, but out of curiosity because you put the mesh flush with the front of the grill do you think the fiberglass and bondo are necessary?

I wouldn't say it's necessary, but I wanted the grill to be as complete as I could. This included sanding and priming the area. If the mesh is taken out of the plastic grill it would be a smooth painted area which you can see some of it through the mesh.

To each their own, I bet you could get away with not adding the fiberglass and bondo but I wouldn't recommend it.
