super easy to remove the roof rack. pop off the cap and under neath will be screws that hold the rack.

A little bit of plasti-dip goes a long way on these 5.5 gens! Anyone else think that the new front end design really pulls off the "storm tropper" look way better than the previous gens? I can't even really describe what it is, but the super white with the subtle black hints work out great together! :bigok:

Agree. I think it's the black gills and fogs.

I'll chime in here since I asked the question originally. The front piece is pretty simple to remove. 13 clips on the back side that can be accessed from the bottom and after removal of the radiator cover.

There is a write up on its removal on here.

The rear is another story and it seems you to remove a big chunk of the rear bumper, in order to access the top clips. The 4 on the bottom can be pulled out, but i could not figure out how to access the top ones. That being said I ended up just masking and dipping the rear piece.

Lugs wouldn't hold up.

It didn't look like the lugs were sprayed but hard to tell from the pics. I have the same exact truck color n all and a couple cans of pdip.. was thinking of fun the same exact thing!

Does anyone know if Nguyenn's 4runner has a lift or is it stock height? I really like that look.
