My Suspension Sucks A**

I piecing together a new suspension set up rn, and been getting quotes for the install. Most are around $400+ for replacing everything with my parts. Does this seem about right? I'd tackle it myself but i'm in college in a shitty little apartment with no driveway, limited access to tools, and limited knowledge.

Anyone know of anywhere close by Davis that might be better to go to?

If it matters i'm looking at replacing stock with 99 tall up front and 906 in back. Shocks are probably gunna be 5100's but haven't fully decided yet.

For the front, did you buy a full coilover or just the 99 tall springs to put on the shocks you already have? If you bought the full coilover set it is super simple. Rears aren't hard at all, takes MAYBE 30 minutes per side, as long as nothing weird is going on back there. Don't pay $400 to have it all put in, WAY too much. Hell, I'd help you but my work schedule is long and I work weekends. You wouldn't need that many tools, either.

I just have the front coils right now. going to be ordering bilsteins for them in the near future.

You can rent a spring compressor from a local auto parts store to compress your springs once you get the shocks. Just be CAREFUL. Usually, if you go to Oreilly's, they charge you the rental fee and refund it to you when you return the tool.
