My wife and I made a video

[eddie333]

That got your attention (perv!)

No seriously we tried to make our first video of doing a trip with our 4Runner and thought I'd share it. I got a GoPro a few weeks ago and a Quadcopter on a Friday and immediately tried to learn it all and filmed this the next day.

Looking forward to trying to document some more of our trips!

Not bad actually! Better than the recent Overland Bound video I saw. nice work, looked like fun

Very very good! I have made a few with my mountain bike similar to that. All I'm trying to do is capture the essence of what riding is to me and convey it to my wife, daughter and a few friends that don't ride. This looks like what you are doing with your 4Runner adventures!

On a personal note I have had to tone down my bike videos a bit. Why? One of my videos was titled "Just Down the Hill" and used this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEDD_s5dk2M. It was a compilation of nothing but descents from a recent ride and during the chorus I used slo mo and GoPro mounted on a short tripod through a few rocky fast sections. My wife and her sisters were horrified! I now have to promise to "Not ride like that video" every single time I ride. fml

If I were you I would post this video in it's own thread in the 5th gen section. It's good.

You're such a tease.

Nice video! I'm also thinking of getting a GoPro, especially for the FJ summit.

[TeamLord]

THAT'S EXCITING! Thanks for sharing!

Oh if only this was reddit I would have the best comment, but since its not I'll say nice video.

[wadle5]

Cool video. . .what were you using for a drone?

[ThorInc]

The drone adds an entirely new perspective! Nice work! :clap2:

[campinfreak]

I like it. Great job. Would watch more.

[picklesmestickles]

Omg

Man the aerial views are incredible! Can't believe you figured it all out in a day. Looked like a proper movie or something. Awesome work. Looking forward to get a drone and do the same on my trip. Thanks for sharing

[karmatp]

Soooo....

Where is said video?

Good work with the video [MENTION=91989]eddie333[/MENTION]. Wish I had skills like that.

[TheRoadNotTaken]

Very cool video.

What air mattress are you using that fits in the back?

I'm looking to do something similar, but I'm 6'1" and thinking it will be a tough fit.

LOL my videos are just for me, family and a few close friends. I like using my own music and I can't use it and post on YouTube without stupid ads. Plus I only have five or six. Like the music link?

[jdtaylor42]

Great work and looked like a good time.

I wish I could fit in the back of my Runner but at 6'3" it just isn't practical

i saw this coming, but still clicked on it because of the title.

I call BS...

I think it's the new 4Runner ad from Toyota! ;-) Very well done...

Very well done!!!
From the looks of it you have some experience in cinematography.

Coleman makes it and it's made for SUV use... However we also have a larger one made for home use that fits in the back snugly and closes up the gaps on the sides so you get more room.

Some times when we go on long trips I'll remove the rear seat cushions and leave them home because then you get more head room. I'm 5'10" and fit just right. At 6'1" you might have to try a slight angle.
