Mystery Beeping

I am a fairly new '95 4runner owner. Just today I discovered a new beeping noise in my car, almost like a blinker signal, accompanying that noise the dashboard lights and clock light in my car flash along with the head and tail lights. The beeping and flashing start up then stop for a little while driving. I should probably throw in that last night the sunroof was left open and there was a light rain, i don't know if the problem is related. Any ideas?

im not familiar with the dings and beeps of the second gen but i would think with all that going on it might be a alarm or anti theft system

With all that, plus the sunroof, sounds more like something got wet and is shorting out.
But if you give more details, like under what conditions does it start/stop, might be able to help more.
