Is that the 14" FJ Cruiser Toyota emblem you used?

No, it's not 14"; closer to 11-12". It's the emblem that comes on the newer FJ Cruisers. I don't think you can buy them by themselves. I believe they only come attached to the grille. I just got lucky enough to get one from a body shop that was going to just toss it out.

Somedays I miss the old bodyshop, and the amount of money you can save by working for one. Your front end looks great with everything tied together.

I have always preferred white runners(mine is silver go figure) but have to admit your black one looks great and better than your white one. Not that the white one didn't look good just think your black one looks better. Also, I have a quick question for you. I see you installed the same lift again. Is the spring seat position on the front Bilsteins set to 0" and was/is it the same for both the white and black runner?

Thank you! I've always had an eye for white as well. Black just gives it a more beefy look, I think. Definetaly a color I'm still getting use to, as I've never owned anything but white and silver :)
The bilsteins were not adjustable. The set I got is a 3" lift and exactly the same one I put on the white one.

It's a lifesaver having access!
Thank you

Yeah, having shop access is awesome. I worked over 10 years at a truck accessory shop. We did everything from bugshields to custom flatbeds, lift kits, full on bumper and suspension fab work. Definitely miss having access to a TIG welder, alignment rack, 2-post lifts, plasma cutters, fork lifts, etc. It's also nice having access to all the stuff a shop like that throws out. There was definitely a market on ebay for stuff like that. Awe, the good ole days.........

I'm guessing you chopped the body mount. Do you rub on the pinch well? Or did you solve that problem?

All I've done so far is grind off the edge of the body mount. So far it doesn't seem to be rubbing the pinch weld. I think I've gotten all the rubbing under control. I hope...
