They saved their ass from lawsuits by sending out an email about their "updated policies" a few weeks prior. Much like the "terms and agreement" scroll down boxes, no one ever reads them.

It's mind blowing that they wont lower the price though. With all this media backlash, I'm hoping they burn.
 
I have a spare 2006 grill in the classifieds if someone needs a grill to make their Satoshi. PM me if interested.

VERSON 2 ... Toyota Raptor Grill Modification

Well, I took down the Satoshi and built the Raptor Toyota grill
This mod was a whole lot harder than the regular Satoshi. Took about 5 solid hours to do. It was all done by hand.
After the work involved, I can see why those who build them charge what they do. Using a sheet metal break obviously was the key, but because I didn't have one, I had to build it by hand.
I started to take pictures, but then realized it's just not worth trying it this way. I'll include some, but this is only about 1/4 of them.

LOL yeah, it's a bit of work. I'd do a Satoshi ten times over before I did another raptor type. That was a pain! I'm glad you got it and you're happy with it!

I have a 2005 and I've read that this grill is a lot more work for an 05. Will a 2006 or other year grill fit the 2005? Therefore, could I get another year grill to make one of these that would fit the 2005? Thanks.

I have an 05 too and I'm also wondering about this. I'm not sure what the best way to go about doing the Satoshi is. I've read that the 06 grille will affect the headlights and bumper as well. Not sure how to proceed.

I'm in the same boat with an 03. The 06-09 Are definitely easier to do.

If anyone can build or know someone that can build Satoshi grills around Vancouver, BC PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
