Hey all. Haven't been around in a while, but, due to the newest addition to my Yota family I'm back in action! I have s few issues with this truck and I was hoping to snag some answered from y'all since I have always had great luck with this forum.
- 1. lift is too high, I have 33"tires on the way but the PO already blew the ball joints and suspension in the front. I plan to lower it to 1.25-1.5" in the front ( adjustable Bilstiens
). Here's my problem, i need to lower the rest accordingly, but I'm not sure how. Can't find LC springs locally all sold out. I'm thinking about just getting an old set of stock springs and adding the good old spacer, but something with more articulation would be nice. any ideas are welcome for this issue. - 2. Knock sensor CEL, bank 2 circuit. from research 90% of the time it isn't actually a knock sensor. I just replaced the valve cover gaskets and intake and all that so I'm not really feeling like pulling it all apart to find and re-wire the harness, thinking about the ECU wiring hack, but i also don't want the 5vz blowing up on me.
- 3. It has à silly body lift, i think that much be creating some issues like the CEL and the Speedo not working, sometimes. I'm tempted to take it off when the 35"s come off but it looks like a PITA to remove. Anyone with experience with these issues I'm open to advice.
