Has anyone bought these yet and installed them?

Im curious what you need to do to install. If it is reversable if I should want to take the light off, without leaving any holes or something someone would notice.

I look at the gutter trim, which is where Im guessing it goes and I cant figure out where those brackets mount to? Do I have to drill holes for them or is there something there already?

Have you figured out if the light bar will clear your rack fairing? I've thought about these but don't know if they'll clear the front of my Baja Rack.

It will...I plan to install it soon, just finishing up with my dual battery set up..

As long as the new buyer doesn't mind new holes in the truck. Maybe you could fill them with a caulk since they are under the weather stripping.

Too bad someone doesn't reverse engineer these and offer something with a plain or more tasteful design. You could always use plugs and a solid sealant if you ever remove your light bar/ brackets

Agreed! I like the bracket, but not the free advertising.

personally i don't like the idea of hanging the bar out over the windshield. the difference in pressure over the windshield can be quite audible in the cabin with a double row bar, not to mention you're making sure that ALL of the glare from the bar is on the hood. atleast with it on a rack, some of the glare is being dispersed by the roof of the truck.

IMO, the only way to go about doing a above windshield light bar is wrapping the hood in flat black, even then - its only so good. a high quality bar that has good LUX numbers will make all the difference too, but there is only a handful of people on here that are willing to spend and use a $1700+ light bar

Personally, I just pay for a chopper to fly overhead, and light the trail up that way.

I've got a Drone that remotely follows my TRD PRO automatically and lights up wherever I look. It's based on the helmut cams in apache helicopters... Kind of looks like a scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind when I'm on the road...

Just installed myself. Not for newbies. Yes you need to drill holes. Sleek look. All or nothing. If you hate the idea of drilling send it out and get the finished product. Just like hotdogs, you don't want to know how their made.these are the Nfab 1050 with Rigid Radiance 50" light bar as per spec. FYI didn't spend 1700 on the light bar, try 337.00 Amazon. Mic drops ��
