Just bought some N-fab nerf bars for my 2015 Trail. Did some looking around and found 4wheelonline.com is doing a 2 day 20% off N-fab with free shipping which save hundreds. Also a $25 mail in rebate. Thought I would share the deal. If you're ordering for the 14-15 4runner you'll have to call as they dont have it listed on the pull down tab. I don't have them on a Runner, but installed a few dozens sets over the years along with other "nerf" bars, and they are hands down the best. There is a reason they cost so much more than regular nerf bards, because they are beefy.

Can you use them as rock sliders? I would so not, but they are definitely stronger than a regular step.

Does anybody know if these are interchangeable between vehicles, say a Ford f150 to a 5th gen 4runner?I'm looking at some used ones with 2steps on each one. Thanks

any idea how they hold up against salt, i live in the midwest concerned about rust

I installed a set of these a few weeks ago on my 2016 limited. The fit and work great. Easy to install.

The powder coat is definitely tougher than the Westin bars I put on my 3rd gen a few months ago. The Nfab looks like bedliner and the westin bars just look like spray paint.
