Take a look at pics 4-6. Its the part above where the step is connected to. Then the square tubing is connected to the body. The very last pic is a close up of how it's all put together. Hope this helps you out.

So all you need extra is that tube spacer, the rest is the included mounting harwarde with the step, correct?
Also, did you drill 4 holes through the spacer to fit the screws, and did you sodder it?

Yes the square tube spacer is what you need to make this work 4"x4"x2" You can use the existing bolts to mount to the body or buy a little longer/stronger ones. Be sure to use loc tight on all the bolts mounting to the body. Yes you do have to drill 2 holes at top and bottom for the bolts. You would also need to get 12 nuts to mount the steps to the spacer. The hardware supplied doesn't come with the nuts. I got this all done at a buddy of mine who works at a fabricating shop. He did a little tack welding for added support where it meets with the body. May need to go to a fab shop or welding place to get the square tubing. Also be sure to paint all the spacers to prevent rusting before the install. Hope this answers your questions.

Just ordered mine. I hadn't heard of these until you started this thread, so thanks. I was going to go with Shrockworks, but I like the look of these better and I could get two sets for what I would pay for the Shrocks. I can't say that I'm hard core, so before I start getting beat-up, I understand the benefits of the rock sliders versus the nerf bars. I want the look of mean, but I don't necessarily need the bite to back it up!

Ramzey28, since you have a TE, you would not require this modification. The N-Fab steps would line up to factory holes and just bolt on. On a TE, ground clearance is about the same of the average step and is NOT lower than any factory component. The steps are powder coated. I guess, rust would depend on the conditions they are exposed to.

I know it is a matter of opinion, but do any of you who own the N-Fab wish you would have gone with running boards or sliders? Anyone with running boards wish they would have gone with N-Fab or sliders?
My concern is the clearance on the N-Fab (on a TE). I will take my car offroad on occasion - I would hate to catch one of these steps on a rock or log given that they are not attached to the frame.
But, I do need the step to get to the roof - slider options for the TE with KDSS are very limited. I do not like Shockworks system of paying and waiting 6 months for the product -- personally, I do not like doing business like this. It would be like paying a contractor upfront to work on your house - never a good idea.

I have the N-Fab rock rails without the steps for my TE. They are subtle and won't hit my knee when I enter (I'm 5'1" so the ones with the steps would cut me up). I was originally going to buy the Shockworks, but I didn't want to wait forever for them. My N-Fab ones only cost about $300 bucks with free shipping. Running boards would be practical, but IMO they don't look good.
How's the rigidity of the mounting? You notice any additional flex or additional strain on the original mounting holes due to the added torque arm the mounting brackets allow with the steps?
I'm curious cause I just bought an '11 SR5 and want to install these as you did. I saw the thread that said Nfab is beginning to fabricate bars for the SR5s and Limiteds but I doubt I'll wait that long.
EDIT:
How about ground clearance? I see you have a lift where as I do not. These may be a bit on the low side for me till I get a lift installed as well. This is also where I favor the mounting bracket idea vs. the Nfab updated versions. If needed, I would still have the flexibility to remove the lower rocker panel and mount them directly for added clearance.
