My first 4R TE had the Nav system and even through it's failings I still like it better than the stock radio on my current TE mainly because I could read it no matter that ambient light condition or sunglass configuration I was wearing. I was at the dealer getting my 5K service and poked around the '12 TE model with N-tune and it looked promising and was a $995 option, much cheaper than the '11 Nav system, if I remember correctly, and comparable to an aftermarket unit available now. I asked the TRD parts person about plug and play options for adding it to a pre-'12 model year 4R. She said the option for plug and play add on is "coming soon" but may not be available on an '11 model. I'm going to keep tabs on this and I'll post back for anyone interested in this possibility.
