Name that wheel...

Hi All,

Saw a wheel/tire set up that looked pretty good on a Yokahama tire commercial a little while back. Finally got around to doing some research and found the commercial on Youtube:

I'm trying to find out what kind of wheels they're running on the trophy truck in the commercial. I caught a screen cap which is attached.

Does anyone know who makes these wheels?

Just out of curiosity.. are you planning on running that wheel yourself? Full beadlocks are not allowed on the road in all states and usually provide some challenges in the balancing department.

Thanks Okki, that's good to know. I have been looking to replace my stock set up and saw these and liked them. Sounds like they're not the best option for onroad use.

No prob.. there are what's referred to as "streetlock" rims that have a beadlock look, but the ring is cosmetic only. the TRD's that I run on my truck are an example of those.

KMC actually make those wheels both with and without true beadlocks. The really cool thing is they make them for my RC trucks too!

Damn! That would probably be why I kept watching the video to figure out if they were holes or spokes...they are kind of both?

I like the AX10 Ridgecrest...and the SX10 Dingo is pretty slick too, but I rather spend the money on my real truck then buying a "small" truck at the moment
