About 2-3 months ago I installed the Napa MaxDrive "HD" (thermoplastic outer boots) while installing my lift and have noticed yesterday my inner boots were already split, pretty badly.

My angles aren't even that bad (2.5" lfit up front) - but I did notice the flutes did touch on initial install.

I'm gonna make Napa replace it via the lifetime warranty, but I'm trying to prevent having to change CVs every 2-3 months lol.

So my question is - anyone with these axles do the boot stretch mod on their Napas? Did that work out?

were you running a diff drop kit ? could be because the angle was too much.
