Navi advice

i recently purchased an '04 sr5 4runner, i was wondering if i could replace my headunit with one from a limited edition and have navigation or if i should just replace and not go with toyota parts?
also if i end up replacing it what are some good units to buy? (i would use ipod connection, 3.5 jack, cd, and navigation)

look at pioneer's new Avic X series, I believe it is. I just bought a 2006 runner without the OEM navi because I got such a good price, but to put it in is harder than putting in a aftermarket one...and the aftermarket one will probably be nicer and have more features.

Getting a Toyota Navigation lately is tough to get. Plus, don't forget they are getting up in years. From a technology standpoint, they are becoming obsolete. They are priceless if the OEM look is your thing. If not, an aftermarket unit will yield better options, less headaches and you'll be better off.
