Navigation Direction Voice and Audio Volume

To be completely honest I haven't done my research and read through my owners manual yet, but thought maybe someone could help me out.

I've noticed that unlike some other vehicles, my music volume doesn't go down so I can hear the direction voice when using my nav. Is there a setting that can be customized to change this?

Yeah, i just figured since you admitted to not even looking for a solution i would give you a little sheite. Go to set up and look for nav. Speaker settings, i don't know what h/u you have, but that should get you in the ball park. I will go out and look at mine to refresh my memory.

On my unit, i go to setup, then nav. And it should show what speakers you have chosen, and volume. I'm on a kenwood though so? Oh, and sorry about the doo-doo.

Haha. Some sheite was definitely deserved considering my admission. I haven't found the correct setting yet, but I will report back once I do. I guess I need to have a bourbon and spend some quality time with the owners manual tonight.
