This man has run his shop in Mission Viejo for 30 years. He owns and drives a very modified, armored, double locked, supercharged 3rd gen. He transplants items from one Toyota to another on a regular basis.
Some of the things I've seen him do:
- countless diagnoses
- install a factory e locker and the factory wiring, colors correct, fully functional, with 4wd ecu and factory plugs
- install cruise control from a 3rd gen into an 85 pickup
- Repinned a combination switch from an 86 to fit a 79
- older pickup SR5 gauge cluster swaps (wiring tach and oil press. sensor)
- several manual transmission swaps, wiring everything the factory way, including clutch start cancel switch
- we did a 4WD conversion on my 3rd gen using all of the factory ADD shift on the fly wiring from another 4runner, as well as manual swapped it
