Can someone with the 2nd gen 4runner with a 3.0 v6 please measure their oil dipstick from the point it sits in the dipstick tube to the end, I believe Iay have the wrong size dipstick in mine from the previous owner, and I'm getting no reading on my oil level when I just changed the oil. Thanks in advance.

Just did it for you, from the bottom of the rubber gasket to the tip of the dipstick its 18 & 1/4''

Interesting, as 'combatmedic' was responding to your post I was out measuring the oil dip stick on my 90 4x4, SR5, 4r w/ 3.0 6cy w/ EFI and came up with 18 1/2"?
