Need a new alternator

Turns out I need a new alternator. Does anyone have any idea where I could get a good quality one?

^^ Yeah. For 400 bones.

The CS144 puts out 140 amps, and is a fraction of the price. You can get the alternator and the adaptor cable for <$200.

Of course, if you have no reason to go that route, the stealership is a good place to get the OEM alt, or Camel Back Toyota.

Have you tried taking it apart, cleaning and changing the brushes? Do you know what part of the alternator is bad?
I spent $8 when mine started acting up. Replaced brushes, cleaned everything with brake cleaner, and have gone 5k with no problems.
