Hello-
I ruined the dome light circuit on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner and apparently it’s a data wire that goes to an ECU. To make matters worse Toyota no longer sells the part. It’s part 82171-35842. I found one off of an SR5 and was hoping the dealer could “patch” the section of burnt wire with the replacement I found , but after I took my entire roof liner off they wouldn’t touch it.
I could try to use the whole circuit off of the older one but it did not have lights to the visors.
Anyone know where to get discontinued parts?
