Easiest things first. Clean the MAF and make sure the air filter doesn't need to be changed.

I agree with kball. troubleshooting works best starting with the basics. It could be a number of things, so I like to start with categories. You need fuel, air and an ignition source for proper combustion.
check all intake components, clean, etc.
check spark components, inspect, clean, etc.
Then check fuel components, etc.

whats your service record look like? last tune up? If I had to start somewhere I would go with kball's advice. start with the intake and work back. then check for vacuum leaks.

As Kball said, try the MAF cleaning first with dedicated MAF cleaner (it is located down inside the housing).

Also make sure you have good plugs, dual electrode.

Yeah clean the MAF and to clean much deeper run this (or your favorite equivelant - this is more cost effective) in your tank. You can find it in walmart's marine section, mower shops, etc. Worked almost instantly when mine started stumbling slightly on cold startup-first takeoff. Luck!
