Need an OC Shop to Install Lift Kit

Can anyone out there recommend a shop that will work on a 2008 Sport Edition? So far I tried Becker and 4 Wheel Parts. They won't touch the Xreas system even though all I want is for it, along with the stock springs/struts, removed.

I'm leaning towards an OME Low Lift Kit from Slee Off-Road.

I already posted this in the Socal forum, but thought I'd give it a try here too.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you're willing to make the drive, look up The Truck Shop (sdtruckshop.com) in San Diego County, on Miramar, across the street from Miramar MCAS.

They gave the best price out of 4 shops I spoke with, had no problem removing the XREAS, and they sell all the good lift parts. They do the alignment in-house as well!

I was in at 8am, and out by 2pm! Talk to James.

"The Truck Shop" is great but I like "SD Trux" much better. They're both a couple blocks from each other.

Just one look at SD Trux's shop and you'll know you're at the right place.

I had work done at both and they're both great. Maybe consider who can get you a better price.

SD Trux is by appointment only, and wouldn't give a price over the phone, they wanted me to make a separate appointment just to come in and get a quote.

Since they work by appointments, when the days appointments are done, they go home. They don't wait until 5pm (or a standard closing time). To try to drive in without an appointment and get a quote, I would have to call ahead and make sure they're still there. I tried this on three separate days, and each time, no one answered the phone.

So they lost my business. Sorry, that's just how it is.

The Truck Shop also had no problem with doing it on a Saturday so I wouldn't have to miss any work.

Crazy how limited oc is along this front. I want to regear but no one stands out. Sd is a bit far. An über back to newport is $80+ on weekends.

Talk to James about maybe hooking you up with one of their company loaner cars, i don't know if they do over nite or not, but can't hurt to ask.
