Need an OEM style lug nut source

The 3rd Gen I just bought was missing 2 lugs, and it looks as though all of them have seen an impact wrench a few dozen times.

I'd like to replace all 24 and torque to spec, but I'm not having luck with ebay, amazon, advance auto parts, costco, etc...

Anyone have a source for 24 OEM style lugs?

Do you want oem or oem style? I may have 14 most of them are from advance auto parts I could sell for a fair price..

looking for these ones? http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...ntity-1-99017.1/16140081-P?searchTerm=lug+but

http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-EXTENDED...&fits=Make:Toyota&hash=item5d442f1f0c&vxp=mtr

they are pricey at advance but advance has some coupons TRT30 will get you 30% off if you need them local asap.. At 5 bucks a piece I cant blame the guy who stole 8 off my truck one night..

Smith,

I appreciate that, but I was hoping to replace all 24 with new ones. You're right about advance. I saw those, but $5 each seemed steep! Also, TRT41 will get you $40 OFF $100, but still.

The ones on ebay look like the right price, but our stock is 12mm x 1.5 with 47mm length, aren't they? I realize that's only a 3mm difference, but would that work? Their chart says they're not meant for the T4R.

To be fair, you definitely offered some sources. I'm just poor and picky... :ohwell:

2nd Wheeler's Offroad, I got Gorilla style ones for my 4Runner and am going to get black Gorilla's for my FJ as well.

AutoZone Carries them also. around $3 l think. You could probably find someone on craigslist too. You could put a want to buy add there and in the classifieds here.

I bet you could also get sooner from anyone paying out 4runner in the classifieds as well. nissanh or DeathCougar maybe

I have sets of 24 lug nuts, $45 shipped (that's just under $2/ea shipped). OEM Lugnuts, not aftermarket knockoffs.

I'm looking for a set of 24 OEM lug nuts as well. I realize this is an old thread, but do you (or anyone else) still have any for sale?

Cheers,
Scott

If DeathCougar is still parting out 4Runners, he'll have them. He had sheds full of every part you can imagine. Click the links in his signature.

I have a full set of OEMs from my 2000 LTD. I replaced them with black Gorillas from Wheeler's.

2 Problems and 1 Plus:

Problems:

1. I need to locate them....need a day or 3.

2. They are all partially dusted with black Plasti Dip - you would need to clean them up.

Plus:

1. I'm in SF so we could meet up. I pass through SJ often. I could also ship through my work but that would add cost.

How does $25 sound?

Sounds great if the Plasti Dip is cleanable and they look decent afterwards.

Let's avoid the shipping if possible. Are you passing through SJ anytime soon?

They are nice underneath & PD is easily removed when applied in a thick coat but these will require some picking or the right solvent to remove.

The good thing is the lugs are from my T4R - purchased from a little old lady (in male form) who never touched them. Just a few tire changes and brake jobs in their life, I reckon. I took them off once as well to install spacers and then off again, so there you have the entire provenance of the lug nuts! LOL

Let me find them first and we'll take it from there.....

I found the lug nuts and peeled some of the PD off. The PD is thick enough to peel off at the top of each lug nut, but will require some patience to get them fully cleaned up. I did 1 (with the help of WD-40), it looks good and they don't have a hint of rust. I won't be in the South Bay til next weekend if you are still interested. If you don't want to deal with it, I understand.

Yikes. Ok. I'll have to put my teenager to work on those. Next weekend would be fine. We'll be working on the rig. I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure I can PM you. Can you PM me?

Done deal. The Plasti Dip is a common rookie mistake - sorry! You'll end up with nice stock lugs though....
