Need confirmation on stock speaker replacement

These have a lower ohm impedance, and higher sensitivty, which means they'll be louder with less power, most likely because of their Neo magnets. For this kind of budget, you won't find better, and infinitys wont stand up to the weather (moisture) inside his doors like the MMs will. a five second search could show you what I'm saying is true, its been years since my shop has carried infinitys, and its because they kept breaking and wouldn't last. We've only had 5 sets of Polks come back in 7 years.

I'm a big Polk fan so not to get in that debate, but these are complete overkill for a stock headunit. The DB651 are where a stock system should be.

You would have to research the ohm loads and at what points the factory amp crosses over. It would limit you adjustable for sure, or you could get a cleansweep from JL. It depends on your budget, and how much time you want to put into this. If you don't plan on using a summing device on the factory amp or running your own speaker wires from a aftermarket tiny amp, then it's most likely not worth changing your speakers. Don't spend only $300 on speakers and expect night and day difference, If the factory crossover points on the amp aren't close to the speakers crossover your looking at buying, then you'll have to invest more money in order for it to be setup properly. Throwing a set a DBs or any entry level speaker in your vehicle isn't going to be night and day, and it surely isn't going to be worth spending the money if your speakers aren't getting the correct signal. Just my opinion, I like to do things right the first time.
