Hi Guys I am new here and have searched for this answer but didnt find it. I am looking at a set of Fuel Octanes 17x9 +1 offset and 265 70 17 Terra grapplers going on a 2010 4R. I just wanna make sure the offset and wheel will not cause any rubbing and that i wouldnt need hubcentric rings. I was told it would be ok but wanted a response from the experts. Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum:hatsoff:
Do you have a link or part number for the Fuel Octanes your talking about .I don't know where you came up with the 17x9 +1 but these are the 17" ones made to fit our trucks........Fuel Wheels Part M5097858345 - D509 Octane, 17x8.5 with 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Black

Here is a offset chart and our stock bs is 4.5". I wouldn't suggest more then a 5" backspace wheel or it or the tirecould rub the UCA's when the shock(CO) is fully extended.

Your right on Fuels website they dont offer a 17x9 but this is what the salesman told me when i contacted him.

"Thank you for contacting us. I would not use this offset for your 4runner. I think that the 17x8.5 +14 would work much better. Either that or the 17x9 +1 offset. We do show to have both of those in stock on this same wheel for the same exact price."

So I need to make sure he sends me the 17x8.5 +14 offset. Otherwise I think he is going to be sending me an 18x9. What you think?

I have contacted them and am going to make sure they send me the 17x9 -5 offset which would put the tire out a little more than the +14 offset. I think this will work best and is recommended on site you sent me. Let me know if I am wrong on this. Thanks

Yes, the +14 is for 4th Gens and Chevies. 5th's have 4.5 bs and 4th Gen wheels came with 5.25" bs as I just sold a set of Sport wheels.

I still don't think FUEL makes Octanes which are part number D509 in 17x9 ,only 17x8.5 which is a better fit anyways. Here's the Fuel wheels in 17 inch....- Wheels
I saw they make Octanes in 18x9
