We're having a sunroom added to our house soon and I need to get the doggie door before he's ready to install it for us.
Kona is a Chocolate Lab and weighs about 80 pounds.
Wall mount:
It will mount in the knee wall below a window, so the guillotine-style won't work.
Access Control:
It's mostly to keep unwelcome animals out. Our yard is not fenced, but has an invisible dog fence. The neighbor cats already help themselves to the garage if we leave it open and I don't want them inside. The invisible fence requires Kona to wear a collar, so if I put the door's remote on the fence collar she won't be able to go out without the required collar.
Unfortunately, the "automatic" or "electronic" doors I'm finding don't seem as solid as the better none-auto models. On another forum I follow they've recommended Hale, but that don't make auto.
Anyone have any good, auto doors they'd recommend?
