2006 Toyota 4Runner 4WD V8
Backstory:
We have owned the 4Runner for about 6 years now (bought it at 32k, now at about 119k). It was driven by the wife for the last 4 years and was our main travel vehicle, but I sold my ISF and we bought the wife a RX350 that is now our main travel vehicle. The beloved 4Runner is mine once again and its finally time to do some upgrades, which weren't allowed under the wifes dictatorship. lol
4Runner Usage:
The 4Runner does not see much off-roading action and will mostly be used on the road with the occasional trips to the beach and snowboarding. I would like to give it a nice stance as I hate the wheels being so far into the fenders.
Current mods:
XenonDepot 6000k low beams / 3000k fogs
Weathertech all around
Lexus GX Driveshaft
Smokers kit upgrade
Bilsteins 5100 all around with stock springs (xreas removed at 69k due to leaking). Need to replace the stock springs. Current setup is too bouncy for my liking.
Wanting help with picking the best wheel / tire / spring combo for my usage? I would like to avoid having to do too much trimming.
Wheels: Method Racing Wheels MR311 VEX
17x8.5 0mm offset $860 + $212(TPMS kit) = $1,072
Tires:
Option 1:
- BFGoodRich AT K02 LT265/65R17 $212/each OR
- General Grabber AT2 265/65R17 112S $142.45/each
Option 2:
- General Grabber AT2 265/70R17 115S $134.45/each
- BFGoodRich AT K02 LT265/70R17 112/109SC $223/each
Thanks in advance.
