Need Help Identifying This Section

Hey guys i have a 2001 4Runner 2 wheel drive and yesterday I noticed for the first time a small oil leak. After checking thoroughly under the front end, I believe the leak is coming from this area of the front axel, or at least this is where I saw the drip accumulating. Is there a seal in this section that can easily be replaced? The oil is clear/clean.

I apprecaite if someone can tell a clueless newb what this piece/area/section is called so when I go to the mechanic I can at least refer to the area correctly.

Thanks!!

Thanks csp.

Now I can do some searching in the forum to see what the next steps may be to having this checked and fixed.
That specifically is where the steering rack guide is, which is serviceable but you have the newer style, identified by the big hex cap. (older style looked like a large nut). If it's leaking there, I believe your only recourse is a new rack. Are you losing power steering fluid? If not make sure it's not dripping down from above, specifically the valve cover gaskets, which is a very common leak on these trucks.
