Need Help Installing Lift

Brian2sun, proudrunner, and I also have lilskips gas tank skids on order and should be coming sometime between now and then 3 tank skids and a lift would be a heck of a mod party lol that would require a grill master as well.

I'm down to lend a hand. BBQ, install a lift and paint/install our skids would be a great mod party!! I would offer my dirty unlevel driveway, but I doubt all of you guys would want to come all the way up here. I'm down to go to driffter's or whoever's house down there though.

lol buy then your place might be snowed in and we would have to run off your neighbors so we could have room.

Very true, it's starting to get colder up here now. Although I wouldn't mind running some of my neighbors off anyways. Especially the new one who's dog keeps pooing in my yard!

We had a dog that kept eating the bottom corner of the screen door so my day hooked up a neon. Light transformer to a switch he only had to flip the switch twice as I remember it. :vader:

this all sounds like it could work out nicely. I dont know who would be up for volunteering their garage, but I could plan on coming down then. And making a stop at costco for food and drink and what not.

I've got driveway Infront of garage, tools, the not so desirable spring compressor but they worked for mine. I also have a grill, and Costco is not far.

Too bad I can't hook up a transformer to his butt! Uh oh, looks he's sniffing and doing circles....ZAP!

Mod Party / BBQ? :thumb3:

The Nov. 13th* works well for me!

I'd be awesome to see Driffter's driveway filled with 4runners :boink:

Are you a master cheff on the open flame grill?

I might even have to break out the ice machine for continuous cold drinks

If we did the 14th, it'd have to be a little early, I would need to get an alignment and drive back up to school that same day.

Haha Master Chef? I wouldn't go that far. Lets just say we won't die or get sick if I cook. Thats as far as that goes.. haha

You think your skids will be in by then?

Sorry meant the Sat*urday the 13th. Sundays don't work well too well for me. I'm mostly there to just help out if I can and enjoy all the 3rd Gens. So by all means, don't work your schedule around me. Driffter is the master mechanic. I just hand off tools when needed.

Thats fine, we still have a while to figure out when we can all get together. And I can grill pretty well....not to set the bar too high or anything...

And I can grill pretty well....

I think that should be a requirement for any MAN especially once they become a father.... I can grill Steaks, Tri-tip, burgers and boneless chicken breasts. Still havnt figured out Ribs, boned chicken or other BBQ stuff. Actually just knowing how to cook in general is a good thing.

I might be out of town for work that weekend still waiting to find out schedule on that but if I am back in time I will bring some of my tools and can make it all happen. As far as alignment goes, you might try getting the Firestone Lifetime now before the lift, once you are in the system all locations have to honor it but some wont sell it to you after the lift.

Great Idea, I know a couple Firestones around here are the same way.

and yeah, grilling is a must if you wish to call yourself a real man! ;):

I can grill/cook/bake up a storm but when there are wrenches to be turned at my house I would rather someone else do the grilling and leave me to turning wrenches. In my house I do the thanksgiving meal complete every year over 350 cookies that get bagged up and given to friends and coworkers

The 13 I am oncall but it looks like I have that covered so that day should at this point should work o hop our skids are here by then it might be cutting it close

The 13th should work for me too. I sent Gerdo a message about the skids, just waiting to hear back.
