How was fishing Where did you go?
Fishing was great! We pulled out 8 all together (I caught 5).
Went to Lake Isabella/Kern River. It was pretty cold, but it was really nice because we were pretty much the only ones fishing. No weekend crowd or anything.

Pretty strait forward. small pump sprayer with gauge installed (drill the sprayer thread in gauge) I forgot where he picked up the resivour cover. dump in break fluid attach to master cylinder pump to 10-15psi and bleed drakes.
Very cool wish I had this when I did my Disc brake conversion!!!

Drifter pretty much covered it. I found the idea on a thread that I can't find anymore, sorry.
- 1 gal. garden sprayer from Ace ($10)
- 5 ft. poly hose ($6)
- pressure gauge - threaded ($3 - cheap tire gauge)
- hose clamps
- motive power bleeder adapter ($30 - #1101 Round Universal)
- motive brass adapter fittings ($5 - #400 I think...)
So, you take off the garden sprayer hose and put on the poly hose. You can do this without hose clamps b/c the sprayer hose has its own setup that you can use. Drill a hole in the sprayer a little smaller than the pressure gauge threads and then screw in the pressure gauge (you can seal with rtv but mine doesn't leak without so it's up to you).
I recommend getting the motive adapter and fittings because it works right the first time. The adapter mounts to the brake fluid reservoir and the hose from the garden sprayer. Before this setup, I tried to modify an extra reservoir cap from Toyota to work but ended up shooting brake fluid everywhere. On top of the cleanup, I wasted a $15 reservoir cap and fittings.

I had more fun trying to build the thing but I have a little time on my hands. The best part is being able to bleed your brakes with one person, effectively and easily. Thanks to Pikeman, Brian2Sun, jSmithjr and Drifter 33 for supervising my first solo brake bleed!
