Need help on tires and lift!!!

I have a 2012 4Runner SR5 Blizzard Pear. Finally decided on 18" KMC XD Monster rims but cant decide on lift and tire. Leaning towards Toytec but open to others input. It will be mostly for looks with maybe a little off roading.
Also looking to plasidip all the chrome. First time making changes to a vehicle so any help is appreciated!!!:wave:

Honestly, from the perspective I've gained reading lots of lift threads and such on this forum, you'd probably be best served to go with a set of the Bilstein 5100 shocks, with the front at a setting that levels the vehicle and go with slightly oversized tires - maybe the 275/70/17's (there's a current thread on those).

The more lift you put on, and the larger the tires you put on, you will sacrifice fuel economy, acceleration, braking and increase wear and tear on the vehicle and the drain on your pocket book (both in initial purchase of components and eventual replacement of wearable items). Of course, to each his own and do whatever you're passionate about. Just a little something to chew on.opcorn:

I'm guessing you have the Limited due to the Blizzard Pearl you call out.

Good luck! Do some searches on the forum for lifts and tires. LOTS of threads - even a sticky about lifted 5th gens.
