Be careful with *HIGH PRESSURE FLUSHING* the transmission fluid. If you do not know the last time it was *HIGH PRESSURE FLUSHED* (mileage), or you dont have records of when it was done, leave it be. I have been told my multiple transmission shops not to *HIGH PRESSURE FLUSH* your transmission fluid if it's been over 80-100k miles since your last *FLUSH*. Apparently it can do more harm than good. Just a little FYI.

Haha boy are you confused....
Big difference between flush and a change , I hope you change you transmission fluid.....
And nothing wrong with a flush if they just use the trans pump , its when they use the remote and high pressure pumps to do the flush is when things start to get broken loose and can clog the valve body....changing trans fluid should be a routine regardless of how many miles are on it ....

Not being a jerk but technically even after the edit it's still wrong , never use the high power remote flush if you haven't done it before 50k from the factory...

The standard flush using the pump that's built into the transmission is always ok , no matter when you do it , as its the very same one the transmission uses to dive....

When getting a flush be sure to ask how they do it before you give them the ok...

130K since you changed transmission and oil ? With that mileage I'd change every fluid you got or at least check them all and make sure they are full and fresh.....good luck man

Also you really should be changing the transmission fluid and filter like every 30k ........sorry but your completely wrong...just trying to help

I think I admitted I was wrong when I edited it. You didn't leave good enough alone. Anyways, thanks for clarifying bc I actually didn't know it was okay to flush the fluids with or without the high pressure machine when you wait long intervals.

Guess I just feel there is an appropriate and inappropriate way to share information without putting people down. To each his own. Guess I'm going to go massage my hurt butt now.

Haha look no harsh feelings, but even after the edit it was completely wrong , I had no intention of antagonizing you, I just wanted you to stop thinking and just listen, you may confuse the op , like I did with the 2wd 4x4 mix up earlier in the thread which others caught, so I left it alone, yes the op has tits and so does my wife , big woop, I just don't want to see anyones truck get fubar'd yours included, editing the post and claiming it was orginaly correct but I was just nit picking when everything was wrong is just going to confuse someone and cost them alot of money....seriously I'm not a **** and wasn't trying to act like one, sorry if it came across that way.
