Need help w tcase linkage

X2:wtf: is that. Just spent hours under my car and know there's nothing like that.
Shifter Linkage for 1992 4runner
update:
1. picture needs to rotated 90 clockwise to read better.
2. Fixed linkage, it was simple.
3. Went out to junk yard found similar, learned to take off there and how it works.
4. remove two bolts and shaft stud rides in comes off, used metal shims from junk yard on end of stud bolt. and re-installed, done.
5. I'll post new pick later
But if you can't get 4wd to work it is more than likely something simple like this.
This linkage is connected to 2h,4h, 4lo shifter. It tight and works GREAT now. Message me if you can't get 4runner in 4h .

So you didn't replace the linkage? Mine is totally missing (bought a fixer upper and this is one of the fix list items). Do I have to drop the drive line to connect to the shift lever linkage?
