Need help with these LED Speedo bulbs

So I purchased a ten pack of jtec 194 168 2825 5-smd LEDs. It took me less than five mins to get them in. Turned the ignition and only the mph was lit. Swapped bulbs multiple times and the green bulb holders which made no difference. Now the one that was lit won't come back on.. All of the other lights are working such as door open, check engine, ect.

These are the bulbs
They don't fit snug like the originals, but the do push into place
I have a 98 now not an 02 ( I know there are differences in bulbs)

Try taking the bulbs back out and rotating them 180 degrees, they only work one way.

Did that. Hope I didn't short it out if that's possible

Thought about that after the fact, credit card info not on there so I didn't bother editing. Address doesn't bother me a bit.

yeah took me 2 trys to get them lit, Leds only work one way. you are not gonna fry them. also my bulb holder is green and it fit pretty good.

I don't get it, I have rotated every bulb 10x. I even put the old bulbs back in. No light. Is there a relay or fuse somewhere? I checked the 10 under dash already.

If the dimmer quit working all the sudden(not likely) would the dash not light up?

ah i know what the problem is, you have to plug everything back in to get the light to power on, that means the plugs on the back of the speedo and the DIMMER

We'll I figured it out!! I searched bad dimmer and found someone with the same problem. Apparently the dimmer runs off the tail light fuse under the hood. Checked, and it was I fact blown. Popped a new 10 in and they all lit up.


I will post a picture of the LEDs once it gets dark.
