need help with transfer case selector

does anybody know the part number for this gasket here that seems to be green and crumbling apart? toyota wants to sell me whole aluminum housing for 60$

I can't seem to find that part listed, the closest I have is what toyota calls a shift retainer but it's for the 5 speed shifter. 33505-35020 can't find one for the T-case.


That said I have this in mine and it's been just fine. Definite improvement over the deteriorated stock one.

and you put it in your j shifter transfer case? i looks like what is exactly in there if i had to guess.

Yes, I have the blue marlin one in my J shift and a white marlin seat in my 5 speed they are different thicknesses and diameters. Hence why I'm uncertain if the Toyota part number I gave you will work.

The marlin seats both made things a lot happier. There's a red one too for a different trans. For our 3rd gens with manual trans and J transfer white and blue are the correct ones respectively. If you have a 5 speed I highly recommend you replace the ball cup as well.

i just ordered the blue one i have an auto trans so the blue one is all i need thank you very much for taking the time to help me out with this
