Need help

i plugged in an air compressor to my lighter and it stopped working, unplugged it and put in the lighter and nothing, checked fuse and it was not bad,checked wiring on it and no power,douse anyone know what else to look for? Help please.

I did the same thing to mine a few years ago. The 12v outlet has a fusible link that is on the back, at the terminals. I've read where some have replaced the link, and some have done away with altogether. I'd say just replace the outlet, I think I paid about $15 for them at my local dealership. Part number 85530-06010.

Check to see if it is attached behind the plug.

Sometimes the plug wire become unattached. Open up the center of dash w' flat screwjobber. Make sure all connections are secure. Try again. Good luck1

Ok thank y'all for the input, I fixed the problem withe the power outlet in the front and back, this is what i did if someone else has this problem, this is for front and back, I pulled out the power outlet and on the back of it is a small fuse link it is a small black wire, I removed the center post it is the positive post remove the small nut, there is a washer that separates it from making contact for the fuse link to work so remove it and put it all back together, than put it all back in and it works now it will blow the fuse and you don't have to replace it just the fuse, did not take pics of it sorry but if you pull it apart you will see what i am talking about.
