Need Interior Lighting Pictures

Hey guys, new to the forums. I just inherited a 2003 T4R Limited. I just installed an aftermarket head unit this weekend using the Metra TYTO-01 kit that retains the JBL amp. After install it seems I've knocked out some of the interior lighting.
The included harness with the Metra kit did NOT have an illumination wire.


Now some HVAC controls lights are out (not all) and some driver's door panel lights are also out (again, not all of them). Basically I just got the car and need pictures of how this lighting SHOULD look at night time, since I'm not even sure what is missing and what is not. I've already ordered the appropriate replacement bulbs for the HVAC controls after getting the part numbers off a similar thread.

I appreciate the help.

Actually, more of the switches to the left of steering wheel and door panel illumination on both sides! Essentially everything up front except the HVAC controls, thanks!

So it looks to me like the power window switch panel is only supposed to have "AUTO" illuminated. The other switches are not supposed to be illuminated, correct?

yup, but you can install an led to illuminate the switches.

Thanks for the pic Chaz, just wanted to confirm that nothing is illuminated from the factory besides "AUTO". What about the "TRAC OFF" switch panel to the left of the steering column?

Hey Chaz or others, is there a link to a write up for the LED install to illuminate the window switches?

J_H_Cole, on my 07 only the word Auto lights up, barely.

the hvac bulbs are about $5 to $6 each from the dealer. If you need to change more than a few of them, you can take them to Radio Shack and match up the led bulbs and use the old bases, just replace the bulb, save about $4 per bulb. Phil
