Need License Plate Bulb

Hey guys one of my two light bulbs for the rear license plate went out on my 99 4Runner. I want to replace them both with a bright hyper white bulb or maybe a LED bulb does anyone know what bulb I need or a place to buy them or a write-up on how to change the bulbs? thanks!

Go to napa auto parts. Tell them what bulb you need. Go to your truck with and look at the lightbulb. Think about what the tool that goes into + <-- that shape is and get one of those. I'm gonna leave the rest up to you. That's just for the replacement part. I can't be helpful with LEDs or anything

It's a #194 bulb, LED's can be found really easily, the difference is night and day.

Like mentioned before you can find them at several auto part stores. But also if you are looking for a nice cheap mod you can go to this website and get a full interior led kit and have the option of including license plate bulbs. I just installed mine and they are so much nicer than the dull yellow stock bulbs.

The best part about getting those hyper white bulbs is that the cop doesn't have to strain as much to make out your plate after he's pulled you over and begins to write your ticket...

I bought mine off amazon... They were like $7 for 4. I don't really know what they are like since I am always IN my truck and not following it...

They are brighter than stock when I tested them in the garage...
