Need opinions on rims

I like those. I'm curious to see what they look like on your 4Runner.

OP, learning to photoshop will save you a bunch of cash. Also you can always ask the community to do it for you next time

I'm usually really good at the wheel game as far as being able to visualize the rim on the vehicle but this time I've been tricked. Next time I'll ask for some photoshop help if I have the slightest doubt.

I have black 17 inch Rt6's on my 4runner and I love them!

Those Enkei's will look slick! I think those are the best ones in here so far.

I am a bit biased, but I think the Split Spoke Tundras look good in black, with the chrome lugs.

I really like how well they fill out the wheel wells as well. That's a lot of well.

^^Both rigs look good. Almost everyone with black wheels has black or painted color matched bumpers and that looks good. It flows. I dont think I can pull off black wheels with my chrome bumpers.

I'm not sure what the difference is between what you thought you were getting and what you did get... but I agree, not the right look for 4Runner body style (seems more like a humungus pickup truck rim). Simple is better! I personally like those Enkei's you posted.

The problem is a lot of people expect wheels to look exactly like they're pictured. Those wheels you bought are the same wheels just in a smaller size than the picture. The picture of the wheel is probably a 18" or 20". The bigger the wheel, the longer the spokes. Vise versa for smaller wheels. So keep that in mind. Many people don't realize this when they order aftermarket wheels in a smaller size cus usually the picture is of a 18" or 20" version.

I'm also debating on wether or not to flip the tires so the white letters are in. The stock wheels had the whites out and I liked them but I dont think they work with black wheels.

The RT6's are what i have on my truck with black walls out and it looks great. Get compliments all the time. I have a 97 white SR5.

I'll see if I can find one. I actually got the wheels & tires from my nephew who had them on his 00 Pathfinder.
Details on the wheels & tires:

Wheels = 18" X 8"
Tires = 255/55/18

If I were to replace tires, I would probably go with a 285/60/18 because I have more wheel well on the 4Runner than the Pathfinder.

I think it is a tasteful upgrade to have the split spoke Tundras. It's custom, but looks stock.

They are proven to look good, fit well, and can accomodate great performance tires in size 17. Since you do not plan to take off road much, you can get a lower profile tire with those 17's that will look great.

The difference is the length of the spokes and just the amount of solid rim around the lug nuts. I know bigger wheels means longer spokes, I've been dealing with aftermarket wheels and tires for 10+ years. I've googled my wheels and even others with 17x9 -12's look different than mine.
