......edition 4runner.
First off, I've noticed a wide range of prices even among Limited edition models, which baffles me a bit. I'm not sure which features among limited editions push the price point closer to $45-46k rather than $41-42k (MSRP).
There definitely seems to be room to negotiate with a larger volume dealer, and my goal is to get at least $4k off MSRP.
So any knowledge you all can share on the differences in features within limited models would be appreciated.
For the record, I don't need 3rd row seating or advanced trailer/hitch/pull options, but I don't want to forgo any of the tech/safety features.
Second, does anyone here have experience with getting a limited edition but asking for the TRD pro tire package to be fitted on it instead of the standard 20" wheel/tire package that comes with the limited?
I live outside of New Orleans (2 hours away) and our roads in south Louisiana are terrible. .....lots of pot holes and we also get a lot of rain.
I'm not sure I'll be doing a ton of off roading-- maybe the occasional trip.
My thought was that the TRD tire package may be a better option for those reasons, but I have no idea how they would mix/match with the transmission and chassis of the limited, since the TRD models are tuned much differently by comparison. Is it overkill to get the TRD tires on a limited? I love the way they look, but I also thought they have serve me better driving around our crappy roads.
Thanks in advance
