Hope someone could help. I am having problems w/ my 2000 4runner. When starting in the morning (cold), it starts and immediately dies out. If I hold the gas pedal down for about 30 seconds, it doesnt die out and idles fine. From then on, it starts fine through out the day. Any ideas? Someone told me that it might be the Idle Air Control Sensor. Thanks in advance.

i dont see the relation to holding the gas pedal at a time limit of 30 sec. has to do with the idle control valve..now if you held the pedal and iright away it start right up then may be the idle control valve...now if you had a leaking injector opening the throttle for 30sec will help draw air.. i think your going to need professional help on this one...unless you can give us more info that involves a scan tool..
