Need some help!

How's it going everyone!?
So here's the story,
I bought a 95 v6 4runner 4x4 almost 2 years ago. It ran great, in decent shape. My radiator blew up about a year ago. I replaced it with a full aluminum radiator, but the damage was already done. It got harder and harder to start. The last time it started there was a huge cloud of white smoke that filled my garage(after about 30 minutes of turning over). I tore into it. Got my heads rebuilt. And then I moved. I towed the truck to my parent's house to continue working on it. The heads are back on but I hit a snag. I am trying to install my headers and finish the damn thing. They dont fit. The passenger side hits the firewall/floorboard.
So here is my question...
Is there anyone in the Sierra vista/tucson, az area who would be will in to help me finish this thing. It kills me every day that it sits. I have been drooling over this truck since I was about 5 years old. I finally got one and it takes a crap on me. I can provide beer, food, other drinks, whatever! I just can't figure it out/do it by myself. I still haven't even taken it off road.
Anyway, please if there is anyone willing to help me out, please let me know, or point me in the direction of someone who can.

Were the headers on before the rebuild or are they an addition? I had to lift the body on my 93 to clear my Doug Thorly's

Thanks for the reply. The headers are an addition. I've heard it's easier with a lift, but not necessary. I've also heard that fresh motor mounts can alleviate the issue.
I would love to lift it, I would rather make sure it runs first.
Putting the stock exhaust back on is an option just to get it going and I can figure the headers out later, if need be.

Without the 1" lift, I couldn't clear the fire wall at all. Pretty cheap to do.
