Need to replace stock 86 T4R exhaust

Hi - just joined today and am not completely sure how to proceed.

I am helping my 17 y.o. son put his first vehicle on the road - a 1986 T4R. It was originally a utility model (no back seat) but I located an interior and swapped it in when I first got it about 10 years ago. I believe that makes it a DLX.

He needs the pipe that runs from the back of the front pipe to and including the catalytic converter, and he needs the pipe/muffler combo that goes from the cat back.

The local dealer says they don't supply these parts.

Does anyone know of a good source for exhaust components that are exact replacements for the stock exhaust?

Although we're not looking to change the performance of the truck, just to get the thing past state vehicle inspection, if anyone has an alternative that would work, we're all ears.

Also, if I should be posting this somewhere else, please let me know.

If you want to stay as close to stock as possible you are going to have to piece it together from aftermarket, factory replacement type parts. I don't think you will have much luck searching for the stock exhaust tubing, unless you find a dealer in the country that has some in stock.

Any auto parts store should be able to get you OEM equivalent replacement parts.
I know they can around here.
