Need Top Plate Nuts

I've had the WORST install of a lift. I've done lifts before but I had soooo much wrong with my 4runner its taken me a lot longer than expected.......and now it's going to take longer.

I was reassembling the passengers side and when I was tightening down the studs they started to spin:ybrick:

So now I'm having to somehow get them off of my 4runner and get new studs from Revtek. I don't need a top plate because I bought fj struts from someone so I still have my original ones I can use.

Does anyone have 3 that I could get or know somewhere I can buy them for a sane price?

Would these work? I know I can get the studs from Revtek but I want new top plate nuts in case the old ones treading was messed up.

If all fails, just go to a hardware store and get same size, you might have to put washers with them.

I'm not opposed to that but are those going to be strong enough? I realize it's not keeping a constant load or anything but I just wouldn't want to put anything of a lesser grade than what is currently there.

I did notice though that the nuts that page I posted were just nylock nuts.

Let's just say this, I no longer have the top spacer in my rig, and still have the extended studs installed. They have you use your factory nuts on there kits. My nuts are not nylock nuts. I do believe they have groves/lines cut on them for locking purpose, ( I could be wrong on the groves ). Just get grade 5 nuts and some lock washers if your worried about them locking on.

Ok, sounds good. My nuts from the right side had some corrosion and caused two of them to misthread.

The joys of cars from the beach....must have kept the right side of the car facing the ocean....you can actually tell it has more corrosion on that side. Drivers side didn't have any issues whatsoever.

If your in that much moisture situation, spray some wd 40 on before putting the nuts on or grease the threads ( light film ), Tighten down and light film coating of grease to cover.

Well I am not but the previous owner was directly on the beach. Their service records were amazing but they must have never washed the underside. I'm using a wirecup attachment on an angle grinder to get rid of some of the rust and respraying with some automotive rust prevent paint.

Any idea what size the nuts are? If you don't know offhand don't worry about it, I'm sure I can find it somewhere.
