pick up a hose clamp tonight ($1.99) and seal it up. it will take 2 minutes to put on and screw down. When you get home pump it full of grease.

Well the boots not torn looks like a bad clamp, also not seeing where you would put grease in

Pull the boot farther back, grease gun, grease on a stick, screw driver, ect. Get creative, or just spend the money and have someone else do it or replace for you.

Drive it to me, I'll do it for you.

Looking at your picture facing me, put your hand on the boot, yes you will get grease and dirty, push it to the right, a little more, ah, there you go, just enough room to squeeze some grease in it, and put the clamp back on just the way you have it.

Replace when it totally goes out.

Edit: forgot remove the clamp first.

Thanks man it'll do for now, I didn't mess with the old clamp in case the rubber beneath it was brittle.

yeah what havingfun said... the hole is the space you create where the small end of the boot surrounds the axle.

You'll have to remove the old clamp to do it.

If your in question on having enough room to put grease in, CAREFULLY, remove the clamp on the larger side and put grease in. Replace with a clamp.

Edit: the rubber shouldn't be brittle, if it was, it would have ripped already and you should see cracks around the clamp.

There is no grease hole. Last time i did one of these we just pushed a grease gun head under the rubber boot. Pumped a bunch of grease in and called it a day.
