Just released the Metal-tech 4x4 2014+ 5th gen front bumper today. This has been in devlopment for quite awhile under the devlopment name Fortress, very pleased to release it today. Yes pre 2014+ 5th gens your variant is on the way.

68lbs over the stock bumper, yet still steel construction through 3D CAD modeling for maximum weight to performance.

Winch ready, fits most all large planetary style non integrated winches. 3/4" recovery points built in.

Integrated LED lighting pockets for optional LED fog lights and LED 30" single row light bar.

Optional light bar deleat grill and optional PRO center deleat for emblem cut out.

It looks clean! Does anyone else think that the design might be detrimental to headlights? Looks like the slightest movement or flex would put pressure and potentially crack / break housings...No?

If you're going to get flex or movement from a frame mounted steel bumper, I would imagine the stock bumper would do the same to the headlights under the same circumstances.

Miguelon, The bumper in the photos is set to a tight fit to the body lines to show just how snug it can go. However since the design is a 2 piece mounting system, the winch mount bolts to the truck first. Then the bumper mounts to the winch mount with adjustable placement. You can set up the bumper to have as tight of a body line as you wish.

By using a winch sub mount system, it also greatly increases the ease of installing the bumper with a winch. Bolt the winch mount on, then install your winch before the bumper goes on.

Right, but most of the other aftermarket bumpers ive seen have a separate piece under the headlights and a space between that piece and the bumper. I always thought that was to allow for movement.

Oh, ok. I did not realize it was a two piece system. Yall did a good job of fitment. It looks like it is one piece from the headlights down in the picture. Very nice design, it really flows.

Ah good to know, I honestly didn't know, my comment was just my own supposition.
 
I've spent so much already on my T4R in the past month including the MT sliders, how to hide a steel bumper from the wife.
 
It says direct bolt-on, but is the washer bottle hidden behind something or must it be relocated? Are there any other relocations/mods required?

I really like the two-step system with the separate hidden winch mount installed first and the bumper shell installed over that. That's the system I was thinking about if I ever got access to a welder. It's all about which comes first... access to a welder, or access to enough money to buy armor made by someone else.

Looks slick, and this may be the highest-clearance non-custom bumper yet; can't wait to see the pre-2014 models.

Thank you. The washer bottle does not have to be relocated, infact its in the stock location in these photos. One can choose to do a relocation if they wish. Personally shoot it black and run it in stock location. If you ever smack it, then time to spend the time and $ to relocate it. Relocations dont use the stock bottle its tossed anyway and if it ever gets hurt on the trail the worst is not squrting the windows. :) So not so bad.

There is a 6mm hole in the side of the frame that is opened up to 1/2". Only mod. Install time is actualy rather quick due to the two part design.

Swarty, actualy we have a PRO delete plate as an add on option. It bolts to this bumper enclosing the opening for the silver Toyota logo. No grill change needed. We will have photos of the bumper on a PRO shortly.

In addition we have an optional delete "intake grill" that bolts in place of the 30" light bar that looks real cool. That too for photo soon. The test trucks all wanted the 30" light bars so still no photo of the intake grill in place on a truck yet.
