New 2014+ Metal-tech 4x4 no-cut front bumper released

Love the new bumper. Now I am choosing between this and the Pelfry... My only question is, what is the difference in Stage1 vs Stage2? Based on the site it just says it adds the pair of fogs however there is a mysterious $50 added to the cost of the jump.. (Stage1= $1449 + Fogs ($99x2=198). 1449+198=1647. Stage2 is $1697. What else is added/different to equate the extra $50?

This looks awesome. Is there a matching rear bumper, or is that yet to come?

Also wondering how well this lets air into radiator? Seems to cover a lot of the grill area, though I do see some openings. (Most of my desert trips are in the summer, in extreme heat, so cooling is always a concern.)

YIKES that's a pricing error. Too much excitement around here to finally get this released. Two kinds of pricing error. The stage one should be $1499. Not $1449. This is the $50 discrepancy in the 2nd and 3rd stage. No worries we will lower stages 2 and 3 by $50 for the next 30 days for anyone that wants a deal.

Also SPENK05 - For catching that (thank you) if you choose to get a bumper in the next 30 days, let me know in a PM with your name and I will give you the 30" LED light bar for 1/2 price or the optional intake deleat grill for free, your choice.

Rear is in devlopment now. Yes its comming.

Great question:
Huge air flow with the twin large unrestricted openings for winch access. Also the lower stone guard is vented allowing considerable air flow, where the stock plastic encloses the entire lower area. Do to the very large cavity between the bumper and the condenser/radiator lots of room for the truck to breathe cool air. Very important at slow speeds like crawling around on a trail since there is limited forced air at low speed.

So close to pulling the trigger. Probably one of the best looking 5th gen bumpers so far. Just not sure if I truly need a full bumper. Whats the total weight?

Based on that, and the reputation of MT's 2 piece bumpers I'm almost sold. Interested in seeing pics of the center badge delete plate. What is the general consensus on the OPOR LED bars? I mean, companies x,y,and z are selling bars for MUCH more so whats the trade off other than a name?

The 5th gens have two exposed oil/AC line hoses and hard lines on either side of the frame. Rather than letting them be exposed we made guards for both sides. Making the bumper with the high approach clearance and very open wheel wells for climbing we chose to build guards in by the frame for these.

You have a PRO, cool. We should have one on a truck soon up here to have photos of. We have 10 bumpers pre-built right now going into final weld blending/grinding then powder. Once we have them back from powder we will have one on a PRO for photos.

The OPOR LED lights are just what we have chosen for the standard and to stock. The bumper will work with other brands of lights as well. We are a Rigid Dealer for example and can set up the bumpers with their lights too. However we wanted to have quality lights at a decent price so we picked these to stock and make sure are direct bolt on for our shell bumpers. Performance wise the OPOR lights have a limited lifetime warranty. IF they ever fail to light, send them back and you get a new one. #1 issue for ANY LED light is moisture getting into them. We actualy tested them for this by opening up the lens and putting water in one and sealing it back up. Its still on our 2016 Tacoma fog'ed up but 100% working. Just like any other LED brand, to de-fog we need too just pop the lens and let it dry out inside then go back on the truck.

The harness that is included with the 30" LED OPOR light bar is also one of our key points to go with these lights. Quality though out.

The stock bumper cover is mounted to the body, and clipped just under the headlights. It doesn't actually mount to the real aluminum bumper, or frame at all. A frame mounted bumper will have considerable movement compared to the body.

With the bumper as pictured, it would impact the headlights, fender, and grill, but it does show how accurately it is designed and assembeled.

Actually I have a Trail, not a Pro. I assumed that with the center badge delete plate it did just that and made it so the center badge could be removed and the plate covered the cutout and essentially made it badgeless like a Pro. I guess I just need to wait for pics.
