By kit, I assume you are talking about the Toytec Boss Kit. It depends if you you have air suspension or not, that changes the price a couple hundred bucks. Kits start at about $1200 some times we run sales. as far as the ride, if it was not good we would not use them on all 7 of our current builds. But ride quality is a very hard thing to express since we all have our idea of "good"
