New 3rd Gen owner, New to forum live in CO.

Hello my names Ulysses
Friends call me Uly fee l free to do so. So I just bought my 3rd Gen 97 T4R Limted less than a week ago. Knew I wanted a 3rd gen so I looked for about a month found one on Craigslist about 30 mins away from my house. So called dealer and set up appointment drove it and after inspecting it from head to toe brought it home. This is not my first 4Runner my very first car I ever bought was a red 89 T4R SR5 best truck EVER as a 16 year old in Colorado I had a blast. So this time around I was shopping for a truck new I had to get a T4R now I love this one.


My last one was all stock I didn't really know about mods back then, so I'm going to need a lot of help deffinately want to do the lift but what other things should I do to make it look Mean and perform To its full potential.

I'm on my 2nd 3rd Gen T4R, and plan on keeping this one (flipped ($) the first one, made enough to buy a new mountain bike, haha). Welcome to the craziness.

How is the undercarriage, any minor rust? I am looking for T4R and colorado is on of my states that I am focusing on.

Finding a sound 3rd gen is becoming a challenge for some where they are not plentiful. And some folks think they are worth more than is prudent for a used vehicle with the maintenance needed to keep them running long term.

The trick is finding one in good mechanical shape as the average sample reaches higher and higher miles each year. Most are at or above 150k by now. If you've got a good one, try to hold onto it and get your money's worth...
